Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of HandyFM at handyfm.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf. Titles marked 16+ or Spicy are only for readers who are 16 or older, and by opening them you confirm that you are.

3. Your account

• Give accurate information and keep your email address current.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Do not share, sell or transfer it.
• Tell us at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.

You can delete your account at any time. See Delete account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break any law, or use the Service to infringe anyone’s rights;
• copy, download, record, redistribute or resell titles outside the features we provide;
• scrape, crawl or access the Service by automated means, or overload it;
• get around paywalls, unlocks, age labels or other access controls;
• reverse engineer the Service, or introduce malware;
• impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

5. Subscriptions, passes and Quills

• Subscriptions and passes give unlimited access to the catalogue for their period. Auto-renewing plans renew at the then-current price until you cancel; you can cancel auto-renew on the Account page, and access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Quills are a virtual currency for early access and bonus content. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred, and are lost when the account is deleted.
• Purchases are processed by a third-party payment provider on its own checkout. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases.
• Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable once the content or period has been delivered. If something went wrong with a purchase, contact [email protected] and we will look into it.
• The catalogue changes over time; titles may be added or removed.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its design and every title on it belong to HandyFM or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own non-commercial enjoyment, subject to these terms. All other rights are reserved.

7. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, when the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service; where we can, we will tell you first. You can appeal a decision by writing to [email protected]. Sections 5 to 9 survive termination.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind and do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or always include a particular title.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, HandyFM is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, tell you in advance by email or with a notice on the site. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
